May 20, 200818 yr How about putting two right handed similar players 1-2 against a righty or putting Patterson in the 2 spot to break things up?If Patterson got on base at a decent clip, it might be a decent move. The problem is that Dusty puts together his lineups based on whether or not guys run like they belong at the top of the order instead of the approach they take at the plate. Hairston has been hitting much better than Patterson and his OBP was 100 points higher than Patterson coming into tonight ... so what justification is there for those guys hitting where they are in the lineup? I'd spend more time doing that with your "alleged" motives if you did a better job hiding your clear shots at Dusty. We have gathered you don't like him long before the season started. Point taken. How about a new one? Asking too much???It would be much easier if he didn't manage the same way in Cincinnati that he did in Chicago ...

Patterson was 7-17 over his last 4 games and tonight he's 1-4 with a run and RBI. Hairston is 0-3 with a K. Maybe he felt Hairston's numbers didn't match with his odds to hit Penny. Maybe you should have attacked not starting Janish...
May 20, 200818 yr I'll take the blame for this one. Turned the television on after waking up to see the score and Reds up 5-2. Short 5 singles later, game is tied. I have moved from the game to bgp. My bad. I knew it had to be something.

Maybe you should have attacked not starting Janish...Hairston was 8-19 in his last five games and he gets on base a lot more than Patterson. As for Hairston/Janish ... why would Dusty go with a young guy when he can go with a proven veteran?
May 20, 200818 yr Why would Dusty go with a young guy when he can go with a proven veteran? Keep making my point. Thanks. Again. We get it...
May 20, 200818 yr You asked ... You walked in to a loaded question. That's how predictable it has become...
May 20, 200818 yr Why stop when I'm right? Good call on Patterson and Hairston. Really worked out in your favor...
May 20, 200818 yr Votto was just completely clueless against Beimel there. When a guy hits spots like that you just take your strikeout and tip your cap.
May 20, 200818 yr 99 years of frustration on the wall. Take one down, pass it around..............Just as predictable ... and this isn't that team's thread.
