May 15, 200818 yr Sorry I didn't post yesterday, I was away until now. I am so very glad to hear RK is off the ventilator and doing better. I thank God for hearing all the prayers all of us have offered and I am so grateful that RK has so many good friends here on BGP that care so very much for her. Keep working at getting stronger, RebelK. We miss reading your posts! :thumb: Eternal God, in whom mercy is endless and the treasury of compassion - inexhaustible, look kindly upon RebelK and increase Your mercy in her, that in difficult moments she might not despair nor become despondent, but with great confidence submit herself to Your holy will, which is Love and Mercy itself. Amen.

May 15, 200818 yr Author REBELK!!! :dancingpa:dancingpa:dancingpa She sounds fantastic! She's still a little (understandably) weak and sore. But all in all, she's doing just wonderful. It took a while to get her off the ventilator; but it turns out, it was because of a rare reaction she was having to a medicine they were giving her. Once they flushed that out of her system, she did fine. She's still in the CCU, but should be moved very soon to a regular room. They're waiting for a room to be freed up right now. She promised to get me the room number as soon as they know it. You know, RebelK is one amazing lady! Talking to her, you'd never guess that she's 72 hours out of a quintuple bypass operation. She doesn't have quite the usual amount of wind in her sails and still having some effects from her medicines; but she's upbeat and positive and ready to go home. Thank you God for hearing all these prayers...and more. :thumb:
