May 21, 200818 yr Author Talked to RebelK a little while ago. She's doing well, given all she's been through. Still dealing with a lot of soreness and problems with her legs. But she seems in good spirits, and well on the road to recovery. RebelK definitely misses BGP and is eager to get back here to chat it up with you all. She hasn't been able to yet, because they had to put her recliner right where her computer is. Unfortunately, it's turned away from the computer and keeps her from getting on-line. But I understand that situation might just be remedied this very soon, and we could have an actual RebelK sighting as early as this evening. So keep your eyes open!!! :eek: :thumb:
May 21, 200818 yr Oh Good Gravy where do I begin:lol: I am so grateful for each of you. I cannot tell you how much you have meant to me in the past week. The flowers, the cards, the phone calls and oh the prayers. I am just so overwhelmed with it all and I feel sure I will not be able to tell you just how much I love each of you. I will not say that I am not hurting because I am. I will not say that I am not sore because I am. I will not say that I am so tired because I am. What I will tell you is that I am a blessed woman and that I have never loved life as much as I love it at this moment. When you are slapped across the face with death, it has a way of making you take everything and everyone into consideration. The surgery went well but as BF told you, I had some strange reaction to the meds ( of course I would) that help you come off the vent and it took me another 20 hours, after they started some different meds. to come off the vent. I know that MrRK (my wonderful husband Pete) was a complete basketcase but from what I understand he never let it show. He never left my side and for that I will be forever grateful. I was taking care of by some very fine doctors and nurses. You could never asked to be in a better than Central Baptist. This is for BF, RTS and MrsPH ---- my sister-in-law told me that when I first came to I was talking to the doctor's and nurses in a slow queeny voice and she swears that she saw a few of them bow:lol::lol::lol::lol::lol: I thank each of you for everything. If you PM'd me, I promise I will replay soon. God is good all the time and all the time God is good. Dear God, I thank you for my life. I thank you for my wonderful husband and for a family that I am just so proud of. I thank you for my BGP family. Of course your time will have to be limited on here for a while and that is understood. Keep on your road to recovery and all of our prayers are still with you. Absolutely AWESOME to have you back. As you said, "God Is Great"!! Now, make sure that you have your meds close before reading this next sentence...............Just think that in your honor I have not bashed Hillary at all since the news came out of your condidtion and I will not......for a while :lol: Good Gravy That Is Amazing!! Not as amazing as what you have came through though or What God Has Done! God, we come to you once again in a prayer and praise in Jesus name.........We give you all the praise and all the glory for RebelK's sucsessful surgery and for her being back home to her loved ones and on the road to recovery. Like I mentioned earlier in the thread, my grandmother had a similar heart surgery a few years back at Central Baptist, and they took amazing care of her.
