The truest sign that RebelK is getting better has occured...

...she sent me a text message!

She has been moved to a regular room. I have her room number and phone number. Please PM me if you would like the info. I don't feel comfortable broadcasting it in the open forum.

But I know she would love to hear from her BGP family in whatever way you choose. :thumb:

Awesome news...Keep getting better, RK!

We must have been posting at the same time. The new just keeps getting better:banana:. Thanks again for the update, they are appreciated.

I talked to RK today, she sounded great! She's in very high spirits, wants to get out of the hospital, but very upbeat. It was so good to hear her voice and even better hearing her sounding like her usual self. God love her!

Just talked to her...she said she was really sore, but, is very upbeat and ready to go home. It was so good to talk to her again!!! She is a great lady and a great friend!!!

I have more great news to report today!

Spoke to RebelK this morning, and she said there's a reasonably good chance that she will get to come HOME tomorrow!!

:dancingpa:dancingpa:dancingpa

And that's only part of the good news. The other part is that she has vowed to give up smoking forever!!

:dancingpa:dancingpa:dancingpa

She said that the first thing that went through her mind when she woke up with symptoms last week, was that she would never smoke another cigarette. Since that moment she hasn't had the urge to smoke even once. And we're talking about someone who (in her own words) couldn't go 20 minutes without lighting up. They even offered her a nicotine patch -- she refused it. So, score another victory for the healthy lung team! :ylsuper:

She also mentioned how much she appreciates all the prayers, well wishes, calls, cards, messages and other forms of support that she's received from the BGP family this past week. I know it means a lot to her. But I'll let her do her own talking when she gets back to posting -- which looks like it may be very soon. :thumb:

Thank you Lord for getting RK through this crisis. It's been a heckuva week; but maybe now things can start to get back to normal.

:dancingpa:dancingpa:dancingpa:dancingpa:dancingpa Great news about RebelK and the qutting smoking. I was hospitalized juust a little over a year ago and did not and have not picked up a cigarette since. I will admit that it was tough at first, even with the patches but I really do not think about them at all now. I would be lying if I said I never have cravigs. Every now and then I will but in a few miutes later I have forgotten about it.

Enough about me, RebelK is doing great and looks like that she will be home soon!!!:ylsuper::ylsuper: Thanks for the info Bird, let's all twist and shout somemore...............:dancingpa:dancingpa:dancingpa:dancingpa

Well, BF, you beat me to it!!! She just called me and she is so excited about going home tomorow!!! She has been walking around a lot today!!! I am so happy for her.

Well, good gravy, lets do some more twistn'!!!!!:dancingpa:dancingpa:dancingpa:dancingpa:dancingpa:dancingpa:dancingpa:dancingpa:dancingpa:dancingpa:dancingpa:dancingpa:dancingpa:dancingpa
