May 17, 200818 yr I have more great news to report today! Spoke to RebelK this morning, and she said there's a reasonably good chance that she will get to come HOME tomorrow!! :dancingpa:dancingpa:dancingpa And that's only part of the good news. The other part is that she has vowed to give up smoking forever!! :dancingpa:dancingpa:dancingpa She said that the first thing that went through her mind when she woke up with symptoms last week, was that she would never smoke another cigarette. Since that moment she hasn't had the urge to smoke even once. And we're talking about someone who (in her own words) couldn't go 20 minutes without lighting up. They even offered her a nicotine patch -- she refused it. So, score another victory for the healthy lung team! :ylsuper: She also mentioned how much she appreciates all the prayers, well wishes, calls, cards, messages and other forms of support that she's received from the BGP family this past week. I know it means a lot to her. But I'll let her do her own talking when she gets back to posting -- which looks like it may be very soon. :thumb: Thank you Lord for getting RK through this crisis. It's been a heckuva week; but maybe now things can start to get back to normal. Great news and please tell her best wishes for a speedy recovery from the nWo household!

May 18, 200818 yr I am so thrilled she'll be coming home today, but she'll miss my e-card. I sent it after noon on Friday and got a message saying it wouldn't be delivered until Monday. At least when she reads this she'll know she has one out there in e-card land somewhere!

May 18, 200818 yr Author RebelK, at last report, was waiting for one more in an endless parade of doctors to sign off on her discharge before she can head for home. Then it's a stop off at the pharmacy, and a long trip back to Danville. Although probably not tonight, we should hear from her in the next day or two. :thumb:
May 18, 200818 yr How far away is Danville from Lexington? I just hope the ride is not too hard on her.
