Sounds like a very impressive win for the young tigers? I know that all of the X seniors were gone which is all but 2 starters. This should give a boost of confidence to some of the young players who don't see the field often. Was anyone at this game, that can let me know what went down? I heard Eastern threw their 2 best at X.

Wasn't there but heard bits and pieces. Kiley Jones opened up the scoring for Eastern in the 1st with a bomb homerun. Eastern led most of the way with Dunaway on the mound(I thought he was their ace). X started with Settembre, then went with Golemboski and finished with Sweeney. Soph. Nick Beavin had 1 or 2 hits, Frosh. Matt Spalding had a hit, stolen base and couple nice grabs in right...Jason Frakes was there and apparently is going to write a blurb about the game.

This may have been the most impressive win of the year for St.X, winning with no seniors and no head or asst. coach, and against one of the best pitchers around.
