True, either way, it's the same thing over and over and over.

So what are the odds of Bruce being called up before next weekend?

Slim and none.

The reason I asked was because I was watching ESPN earlier and they were talking about the Reds and how they were really struggling. One of the experts said the Reds are bad because of how they are managing things, the whole having Bruce in the minors still when he should be in the Reds lineup right now. They said expect him to be called up as soon as Griffey is traded.

He will be up here as soon as there is a spot for him and he can play everyday. No sense is throwing him all over the outfield on any given day.

Double header tomorrow

Oh well, I guess it will give us more time to watch basketball tonight.

Win both today/16-21

Lose both today/14-23

I would think they would settle for a split. Kind of funny in early May that one day could be so impactful on the season.

Originally slated to start Saturday’s contest, Santana (3-2, 2.91 ERA) will take the mound in the opener, hoping to get his first home victory since joining the Mets (17-15) in a blockbuster trade in the offseason. The two-time AL Cy Young Award winner is 0-1 with a 4.38 ERA in two starts at Shea this season, though he did win his only two previous stats there while with Minnesota.

The left-hander hopes for a similar performance against Cincinnati - one of only three teams he’s faced and never beaten. He has no record and a 6.14 ERA in two games - one start - against the Reds, but hasn’t faced them since 2001.

The Mets won five of seven games against the Reds last season, including three of four at Shea.

Johan Santana has never beaten us....

Johan Santana has never beaten us....

He has never lost either.:p

Not again! Another baserunning mistake.

:madman:

Reds are going to set a record for most runners picked off 1st in a season. Just ridiculous how often it happens.
