Track the Reds (Week 6)

Featured Replies

He went over 100 18 times last year.

He went over 100 32 times the year before. His best year.

When he has it going good he throws a lot of pitches.

Which may explain, at least partly, why he's struggling so badly now ...

Down 8-3 in the 7th and Freel gets picked off. Thats the 2008 Cincinnati Reds right there.

Bronson has now been struggling for 2 years. Ever since that great start, things have gone askew.

Maybe the pitch count doesn't help things, but he has been consistently inconsistent the last 2 years with the Reds.

Freel was jealous since Patteson got picked off yesterday, he wanted to make sure he wasn't forgotten about

I wonder how many times a Reds' player has either been picked off or thrown out on the base paths this year? They are bound to be one of the worst teams running the bases.

The guy had a 3.29 ERA in 2006 ... he wasn't too inconsistent. And the fact that he threw 110+ pitches 21 times that year may have taken a toll.

Well the last three years he has been over 200 innings now. Maybe that has taken its toll, who knows.

The 240 innings in 2006, perhaps as much as anything.

The Reds have managed to hit out of order. Is anybody running this club?

I'm laughing so hard, this team never ceases to amaze me. They truly are something special.

Yeah, Dusty ...

Another sad issue is that the umpires don't seem to even know the correct ruling on this. I beleive that Willie waited too late to protest Ross batting out of order. He should have done it before Ross made an out. There should only be one out. Only one person batter out of order, so why in the world should there be two outs?

Thanks Chrissy. I only explained that 5 minutes ago. How long did you play baseball you idiot?
