I have also won several T-shirts, a hat, and lots and LOTS of pens :bunny: from BGP contests.

I won a new Remington 12 guage shotgun 5 or 6 years ago on a $1 chance ticket.

 

Also won $1,600 in a local bracket pool during the 1999 NCAA basketball tournament.

I won $1500 on a quarter slot machine. $1200 was one one pull.

In 2002 I won the Ford Explorer( or cash option) that Thorntons gas stations was giving away at Thunder Over Louisville. Took the $20,000.00 and paid off bills and went on a family vacation. That is my BIG win for my lifetime.( explorer was only a 2WD. that is why I took the cash)

That in a single pot or all night? My largest single pot was 980 bucks playing 2/5 at the Horseshoe in Tunica, had pocket 10's vs KK and AA and flopped a 10 . It was beautiful and I played it so well, trapped em both

 

Probably 400 of that was in one pot. It was over a few hours playing.

My family won a trip to Gatlenburg at some kind of raffle at my elementary school. That was pretty clutch.

I won a 16 gauge in a raffle once.

When I was a in 5th grade I won $1,000 on a Pepsi contest. You had to save lids with letters on the inside and spell Shaq Attack.

I won 875 bucks one night playing Craps at Argosy in about an hour. Took my money and ran before they could take it back. Ive never been so pumped up at 4am in my life.

I won 4 steel belted radials at a UC basketball game. It was when they played at the Coliseum downtown. I wasn't very old maybe 12 or a13. My mom appreciated the tires.

Won $2,000 in some kind of Covington shopping promotion in the mid 70's. Paid my entire expenses for a year of college back then.

During a give away on WKYT, I won 4 straight microwaves, by sending in my email address, my daughters, my moms and a neighbors. I quit after that.

When I was 10 years old I along with some other kids won "Name Kluszewski 's Bat Contest " . We called it The Bleacher Reacher . Won A new bike, two ball gloves I still have The Gus Bell model fielders mitt , don't know what happened to the Bill Dickey catchers mitt , a autographed bat by Big Klu,two balls and a Reds uniform that was my size . All the prizes were presented to me by Klu and Waite Hoyt . One of the kids that won was picked to recieve his prizes on the Ruth Lyons Show .

I also won a clothes dryer a couple of years ago.

For me, I hit the lottery on the bar exam. I flunked MISERABLY every sample I took. In other words, the only bar exam I passed was the real one and the first time. To this day I firmly believe I would have failed the next 20 because I failed the first 20 practice exams; so that was the lottery for me.

 

My dad won 3 televisions in one week in 1969. Unfortunately, the third one was struck by lightning a week later and burned our house down as we crawled out of it. So it was a bittersweet trophy to say the least.
