I won a Bayliner 212 Cuddy boat valued at $34,000 in the Carter County Bash the last time they had it (I think it was 2 years ago). I sold it and even though I had to pay taxes on it, I made a nice little chunk of change.

A friend of mine won a car over there a couple of years ago, I never bought a chance I just couldn't bring myself to dish out 100 bucks.

I won $1100.00 twice and $500.00 in a drawing at work, and $550.00 in a poker tournament.

At that time, I owned a computer repair business so it was pretty much a tax write-off as the money was used for charity. I purchased one ticket for me and one ticket for my wife out of the business account. We didn't even attend the event. I was sitting around that evening and I said, "Let's load up our daughter and head over to Grayson to see if we won anything." She was like, "yeah, right, I'm sure we did..."

 

She parked the car and I ran over to the board to scan the numbers. Sure enough, I saw one of our ticket numbers up there. I was like, "now what?" I told a woman with a Bash shirt on that I saw my number up there. She was like, "Honey, you just won that boat!!!"

 

I was pretty pleased. The taxes on that baby were like $8,000 though. I did manage to get some of that back when it came to tax time.

I won a year's worth of Chik Fil A in a dribbling contest at a UK women's basketball game. I had to dribble a basketball, a mini basketball and a football and won that.

 

I have also won several sets of irons and drivers in golf tournaments as well as a couple of calcutta's.

I won NCAA brackets for hundreds of dollars 3 straight years at UPS (96,97, 98 GO CATS!!) and then wasn't allowed in anymore.

 

Lately I've been winning a lot on ebay now that I can bid anytime on my phone (blackjack2). I've won 1 helmet and 4 shoulderpads this week.

I won a free pizza buffet by having my business card picked out of a fish bowl...

I also won my wife's hand in marriage 34 years ago come July 6th .

About a week ago my wife and I just won a 3 day 2 night vacation package. And a 25.00 dollar gift card from the Outback, which we have already use. It was good.:dancingpa

I won 1900. at churchill one time, I also won the pick the sweet sixteen tournment last year out of the Kentucky post.

I won tickets to Ohio State and Michigan football last year.

$500 in the St. Patrick's fall festival.
