April 18, 200818 yr I was sleeping and during my dream someone said something to the effect of "Don't judge me." When I bolted up because I felt the tremors, for about three or four seconds, I was convinced that it meant the last judgment was coming. :scared:

I have dreams like that all the time. I'll be dreaming something crazy and then right on cue, there will be a loud sound or something that wakes me up. For example, I dreamed a gun shot was getting ready to go off - right at that exact second a door slammed and woke me up. Pretty wild stuff. I have also dreamed a lot of stuff that has actually happened, sometimes even years after the dream.

April 18, 200818 yr I jumped straight up in bed! It scared me to death and lasted for a little over a minute.
April 18, 200818 yr I had just woken up, and heard a what I thought was a truck rumbling down the road here in far western KY. Our dresser handles starting clanging and lasted only about 25 seconds....First earthquake of signifigance on that fault system since 1968!

April 18, 200818 yr Did we just have an earth quake? I was sitting up in my room with a buddy playing MLB The Show and all of the sudden my room starts to shake.. I have a dropped ceiling and one of the tiles fudged up.. Am I going nuts or is it foreal. What are you doing playing MLB at like 5:30 am? Go to bed buddy!!
April 18, 200818 yr I thought my neighbors were up to their shananigans again. I'm actually relieved that it was an earthquake :lol: You're not the only one who was relieved....it woke me up and I heard noise in the house. In my sleepy state of mind I thought someone was in my house, again. The last time I was awakened by noise and my house shaking, it was the result of a couple of burglers breaking into my house. The shaking was one of them kicking the front door in. After turning on every light in the house and checking on the rest of the family...I was wondering if I was just dreaming it. I was glad to hear it was an earthquake, instead of burglers....and glad to know I wasn't losing my mind.

Kind of like when it comes a really bad storm in the middle of the night.
April 18, 200818 yr Henderson is 70 miles or so from the epicenter and the only thing that woke me up was my 95 lb dog jumping on my chest. Once I was awake I didn't know what it was.
April 18, 200818 yr It seemed to hit my kids room the worst... clothes and toys scattered all about the floor... what a mess!
