April 18, 200818 yr Did we just have an earth quake? I was sitting up in my room with a buddy playing MLB The Show and all of the sudden my room starts to shake.. I have a dropped ceiling and one of the tiles fudged up.. Am I going nuts or is it foreal.

April 18, 200818 yr 14 WFIE in Evansville is saying it was a 5.4. Havent' said anything about the epicenter yet.

April 18, 200818 yr Sounds like this one was felt over a very large area. Have seen reports that it was also felt in St. Louis, and West Lafayette.
April 18, 200818 yr Yep....was helping PH with bandage dressing (he had surgery today) and sure enough, our house rocked and the lights flickered. We are in Bowling Green....The first thing I said is, hold on, we are having an earth quake....It was just reported on our news as well....They said they don't have any more details than that. Will there be an after shock? Any way...we are now going to bed, will check in later.
April 18, 200818 yr Center is I guess around Evansville? I'm guessing along the New Madrid fault line? I didn't notice anything, but I was wrestling around with my 9 month old. Been a long time since I ever recall one near NKY area....I want to say, in the late 80's maybe?
