April 18, 200818 yr some news reports are hearing from people who have lived out west and, although it happens much more out there, they say this was much longer than they are use to. :dancingpa
April 18, 200818 yr The weather guy just said it's common for earthquakes in this area.. Since when, I've been here 19 years and never felt one! It is common, although you never feel them, the scale picks them up. I understand it is a good thing to have them like this every few years to relieve the pressure on the fault lines and prolong the "big one"

April 18, 200818 yr I'm glad I saw this thread this morning (Stanton), my wife and I were woken up w/ the shaking and thought we were losing it. Anyway I know that is the first time in my life (27) that I have felt that here in Kentucky.

April 18, 200818 yr I felt it all the way east in Ashland. I was at my desk at work and it was like my chair rocked back and forth for a couple of seconds. Epicenter 44 miles NW of Evansville Ind. My sister lives in Owensboro. I will have to see what they experienced.

On Mike and Mike in the morning, Greeny mentioned it being felt over 4 or 5 different states. He said he didn't know this part of the country got earthquakes.
