July 16, 200818 yr Does anyone think the shirts and ties setting behind their desk understand why this is? Gas prices
July 16, 200818 yr Does anyone think the shirts and ties setting behind their desk understand why this is? I know why it is. I've been in training for two weeks now. I'm eating healthy and working out. I believe the Arby's and McDonalds and Ashland will probably have to close their doors before too long.
July 16, 200818 yr Gas prices Because of gas prices I have tried to cut back on other things that I used to spend money on. Fast food and buying movies have taken a hit from me at least.
July 16, 200818 yr Actually, I have always been surprised at how much people go out to eat fast food.
July 16, 200818 yr Not only gas prices of the consumer, but the gas prices of suppliers to get the goods to McD to sell have inflated the pricing. It's also inflating the pricing at the supermarkets.
July 16, 200818 yr That stuff too, but the biggest thing is the cost of ingredients. I mean Farming costs have raised because of gas and especially diesel prices. It's just the cost of everything is rising. Like the cost of cheese has risen but so has other things...Just stick with the dollar menu and you'll be fine..
July 18, 200818 yr As long as McDonald's keeps the price of their sweet tea $1.00, I will be happy. You aren't kidding brother. They see me come in the lot and I go straight to the last window where they are holding the cup out waiting on me. Sometimes I throw four quarters through the drive-up window, grab my tea, and never stop.
July 18, 200818 yr McDs was 1000% off my radar before they put out their Sweet Tea. That stuff is GOOOOOOOD...
July 18, 200818 yr Because there is no refrigerator or microwave where I work, I usually find myself at McDonald's dollar menu for lunch. 2 McChickens and a drink for just about $3 is pretty good to me. But when the band was playing up in Ohio (Columbus to be exact) we stopped at McDonald's for some cheap grub. I noticed that up there the dollar menu was a lot smaller (fewer items on it that were actually $1, most were around $1.49 or so). Also, the prices of the regular value meals were higher than here in KY by about $1 or $2.
July 18, 200818 yr Does anyone think the shirts and ties setting behind their desk understand why this is? I wear a shirt and tie to work everyday. I don't get your grievance with white-collar workers.
