July 18, 200818 yr Up to about a year ago, when my company relaxed their policy a bit, I used to have to wear a shirt and tie to work everyday, and I certainlly wasn't the MAN. As far as an answer to the original question. Have you gone to the store lately? Bread, milk, chesse, meat, etc., almost everything is more expensive than it was a year ago. A business has to pass the increase in cost of goods sold on to the consumer. As far as a loss in business, I think that is simply. Most peoples personal economies are tight right now. Eliminating eating out is one of the easiest ways to reduce expenses.

NCF, to be fair, everyone is paying the price, and most (even the suits) had no say. The problems we're experiencing now are the fault of no one particular person, nor group of people. Please don't blame people simply because of their jobs, or what you perceive their jobs to be based on where they perform them, or what they wear.

Are the business execs supposed to ignore profitability? You want prices to go down while the costs are going up? Does that make sense?
