I've got Mason and LexCath about even but like Mason's road to get there much better.

I'll pick Mason I am actually pulling for Elliot to beat them in that 1st round game but just don't see it hapening. I wish that Elliot was playing someone else. Elliot, Mason and Paintsville are my favorites that I am pulling for (16th,10th and 15th regions) and I hope that they do well. Too bad Mason or Elliot will go down in round one.

I think Mason Co and Lexcath are the obvious favorites but if anyone else had a shot, it'd be Holmes. Lexcath has to get by UHA in the first round. Mason has the easiest road to the finals.

I noticed in the poll above that 7 teams got a vote or more, but zero votes for UHA. Where are the UHA fans?? If Hopson and Edmonson put up the big numbers they are capable of they could win the whole thing. Seems UHA at 30-4 isn't getting any attention. They are both legitimate D-1 players with worlds of talent.

^ No one is picking UHA because they play LexCath in the opener...

There are the 16 "best" teams left in the state by means of this great tournament and realistically, there are only 3 teams that have a legitimate shot at the State Title?

 

With that being said, is it fair to say that KY basketball is WAAAAAAYYYYY down this season??

The KY HS Tournament cannot get the top 16 teams in it. #1 and #2 just played in the Region finals.

From the looks of the poll it looks like Holmes or Lexcath are the favorite to challenge Mason Co for the right to cut down the nets at Rupp.

I see were Lincoln Co. got three votes,and thats OK, but I'm have to go with Mason Co. to win it all. Just don't see Lincoln Co. upsetting Mason in the 3rd round.
