David Cook has the most going for him. Besides singing, he has the most knowledge on arrangement. He can turn a song to fit his style. The rest just imitate the original singer.

 

Brooke is a good singer, but she is not an entertainer.

 

Archuletta is a good singer, but annoying to look at.

 

Michael Johns is a decent singer, but I am still waiting to see some versatility.

I guess that there were just enough Country Music Fans around to save Kristy. I was shocked to see Brooke in the bottom 3 and I'll miss Ramiele. She wasn't the best singer but she was cute and a lot of fun. Kristy should be gone next week barring a miracle and then we'll really be down to probably the best bunch of finalists ever.

Sayesha should be getting more discussion as one of the best singers. Great sound, good looking but she comes across as very arrogant and I am afraid that is why she is not connecting with voters.

Kristy Cook and David Archuleta performed very well tonight.

Although Kristy Cook performed better the last two weeks, I believe that she has not built enough fan base to keep her. I look for her to be ousted next. :walk:

She nailed it. I didn't say she was close to Carly Simon, I said she nailed the the song, which she did. She also nailed Pat Benatar's. "Love is a Battlefield", the following week.

 

The younger David nailed, "Imagine", but that doesn't mean I'm comparing him to John Lennin.

Michael Johns is gone. What a shame. He was one of the best. Can't believe that he got voted off. He's definitely better than several of the one's who are left. Now that he's gone, I'm gone. Don't think I will watch the remaining episodes. Let the teenie-bopper win.
