I do understand what you are saying though. Even if they have a bad day people will still vote for them. I feel the same thing for Chikeze Eze. Don't get me wrong, he was good last night but OVERALL he has been bad.

Not good and bad, when you are down to the Top 12 is all the same. If you have an "average" night you can be eliminated. In the case of Phil Stacey and Chris Daughtry, you can even have a GREAT night and be voted off.

 

I honestly think D.A. could be voted off this week. :eek: you can't forget the words to a song on top of not being very strong. Do I think there are 11 of the 12 singers better than him? No, but the fact remains that the singers have to bring it EVERY week, and their fans have to vote.

 

Chikeze had a good night and obviously has a fan base. Chikeze reminds me of last seasons winner. He is obviously no the most talented or best looking. They neither one have star quality BUT they never take a night off and they work hard and the voters like that. Am I saying he has no talent? NO, he made the top 12 so he is one of the 12 best. Fair or not, that doesn't matter. He is in the top 12 and 100,000's of thousands of people are not.

Chikezie was the best for the guys... Carly was the best for the girls.. again...

 

I thought David Cook was the best of the guys the last 2 weeks. I think Carly is far and away the best of the girls and probably the best overall in the competition. Brooke and Amanda were also very good last night. I have a feeling David Hernandez will be going home tonight--if not him Kristy Lee Cook or Syeshia Mercado.

I could see Irons, David Cook, Amanda, Carly, Brooke or Castro winning.

 

So far, I think Cook and Carly are the early favorites although I like Brooke with the Carly Simon vibe going.

I think Carly will win.

Hands down, he was without a doubt the best performer tonight. No question.

The 2nd night of the Beatles REALLY hurt him and Brooke.

I thought this was a great performance by David Cook tonight. I usually half listen to Idol, but every once in a while a performance will make me turn around and take notice. This song did that for me tonight. I loved how he changed up the song. Oh yeah, and thanks for the link. I forgot how normal Michael Jackson used to look.

I thought a few singer's performed very well tonight considering they had to choose a song from the year they were born.

Michael Jackson is a favorite for some people born during the early 80's.
