I have to agree. When they said he was performing Billie Jean, I said,"dog, I don't think I'm gettin that". Then the dude just ripped that song.:thumb:

I'm just glad they're back to picking their own songs. The Beatles theme was too much for me. Although it did challenge their talent.

I like Amanda Overmyer's personality, but agree with your assessment.

 

I liked her, but I like rock. Hated to see her go. I am for David Cook now.

David Cook is now my favorite, with Carly, Brooke, and Michael not far behind. We downloaded a couple of David's songs from iTunes. They are really good!

Archuleta reminds me too much of Sangia from last year, therefore I can't stand him.

 

I've definitely changed my tune on this kid. He is really good.

B105 was reporting this morning that David Cook was taken to the hospital after the show. He suffers from high blood pressure. His brother who is fighting cancer had a setback last week and along with the pressure of the show, it soared.

 

They reported that they wanted him to miss the show and go to the hospital but he refused. He did the show and went afterwards.

 

They did not say whether he stayed the night in the hospital or not.

I hope he's doing all right--he's one of the 3 best on the show. I thought that last night the top 3 performances were: Carly Smithson, David Archuleta and Michael Johns. My bottom 3 would be Jason Castro, Kristy Lee Cook and Ramiel Malubay with Krity Lee Cook going home. Although I think maybe Syeshia Mercado could replace Castro in the bottom 3--she really shouldn't have picked that song. There's just no way that anyone else can do it justice after the way both Dolly and Whitney sang it.

On pure performances I think Syeshia, Ramiel and Jason were the worst and Syeshia should go home but I don't think it'll go that way.
