I'm somewhat suprised by this outcome. On the other hand as a Rose Hill fan I am glad to see Bath gone. No disrespect to Ashland just that Bath is a bad matchup for the Royals. Now if Greenup can just beat Elliott.

Congrats to Ashland and Coach Biggs. With all the "stuff" that they've gone through this year it's good that they are having some success here at the end - when it counts.

 

Congrats on a great year to Bath Co. and Coach Hicks. He's got some life back into a program that was struggling. Good luck to Blandon Clemons.

Wow, I took Bath in this one, nice win for the Tomcats, survive and advance is what it's all about this time of the year!

Hats off the the Tomcats on a hard fought victory. This one reminded me more of a prize fight than a basketball game, with both teams slugged out and the last man standing advancing. A big pat on the back to Will Skaggs for the Cats for knocking down five of six clutch freethrows in the final minute and a half to seal the deal. His tosses were the difference in the score. :thumb:

 

This was not pretty, but coach Biggs and his boys get to play East Carter Saturday and that's what it's all about.

 

A big thumbs up to the Bath County Wildcats. Coach Hicks is a competitor with a passion for this game. He's brought a level of intensity and professionalism to a school with some good athletes. He took a team most everyone picked to be in the bottom half of the region this season and finished with a 20-5 record and a district championship. Great job coach. :thumb:

 

Blandon Clemons has been a real treat to watch this season, (except when he was doing what he does to my team.) He should be a real prospect for a lot of schools at the next level. I will miss seeing him in a Bath County uniform. He's an outstanding young man. I wish him the very best in his future. :thumb:

Congrats to Ashland. They kept this one close until the 4th quarter and was able to capitalize on Bath's terrible shooting down the stretch.

Congrats to the Tomcats. I knew this would be a great game, and I picked Ashland by 3. I'm getting pretty good at this.

 

Without a doubt, the turning point of the game was when the Duckster picked Bath by 6+. I finished the night 0-2.:cry:

 

By my picking Elliott Co and Rose Hill tomorrow, could this mean an upset?:scared:

:thumb: I had forgot to list that in my post. 21 rebounds!! What a game he had :scared:. I wonder if that is some kind of a record (for the 16th region tourney) or not or if they have any of that type of stat on record? I would think that maybe they would have it somewhere.
