Which winner will they play in the second rd?

 

They play the winner of East Carter/Raceland, Saturday at 1pm.

 

Not a real surprise to me, Ashland finds ways to win playoff games, always seems to work that way.

 

Congrats to the Cats on the win, tough way for Bath Co to end their season.

Just got back from the game and I'll say this. Ashland had trouble all night pulling down a rebound. Bath Co. didn't shoot real well from the line and #3 for Bath Co. I think his name is Brandon Blevins, well the offense runs through him and that's where they got in trouble in the 2nd half. Good game by both teams though.

No hard feelings at all. I would hope the players on the Ashland squad wouldn't have hard feelings for the "Voice of the Tomcats". His remarks about their "awful" shooting was the reason for my post. Ashland showed a lot of guts in the last two games, I respect that.

I'm somewhat suprised by this outcome. On the other hand as a Rose Hill fan I am glad to see Bath gone. No disrespect to Ashland just that Bath is a bad matchup for the Royals. Now if Greenup can just beat Elliott.

I'm glad, the comment was in good fun....As far as the "awful" comment....Well that's been well documented and he's quick to ridicule and quick to brag. All I can say is that he calls um' as he sees um' and that aint good all the time. JMO.

 

Oh, by the way.....Way to play never give up basketball Tomcats, Survive and advance is the name of the game now!!!

Congrats to the Tomcats on the Win!! :thumb: Ashland made the plays and hit the shots down the stretch and hit the FT's. Like I said, Ashland is Ashland and there is still a pride and tradition there even though they in their eyes have had a dissaponting season. They beat a pretty good Fairview team in their district and have been playing well down the stretch. This one did not suprise me and I had the Tomcats picked in this one.

Bath County's kids have absolutely nothinng to be ashamed of and they can hold their heads high. You have had a great season and left it all out on the floor, good luck in the future.:thumb:
