Who on BGP are in a fraternity?

Featured Replies

Who needs it when you guys got full contact intramural football? I couldn't be more jealous about that part of Notre Dame.

As for a frat for me. No. God no. I'd rather not pay to have friends.

That's such a shallow statement that I shouldn't even respond, but I will respond with this - it is SOOOOOO much more than that. Probably the greatest decision I ever made was rush SAE at Morehead State. I'm sure other Greeks will agree with me.:thumb:

I was a Phi Delta Theta for a semester. Glad I got away from it, because by the time I left Western, our crew was welcome guests all over campus. Probably has a little to do with why I ended up graduating from NKU.

Delta Sigma Phi at UK..However I think I might be done with it after this semester for financial reasons.

I've always felt that my friends and I are a lot closer than any fraternity guys, but if you already don't have a "clique," if you are far away at school, or if you want to branch out, I'd consider it.

There are a lot of things I really, really don't like about fraternities though.

Sigma Chi, Murray State

FOr those who have preconcieved notions, being in a Fraternity was the greatest thing I ever did. I didn't look at it as buying friends, I was buying experiences and contacts that will last a life time. I was not Greek my first 2 years in college and my good times consisted of hanging with which ever friends from high school that were there that semester because none of them could stay in school and chilling in my dorm. Being in a fraternity was great, I had so much fun and made some of the best friends I'll ever have, I've been out of school for 3 years and still see and talk to those guys regularly and it gives me somewhere to belong to at homecoming.

ALWAYS PROUD TO BE A SIGMA CHI!!!

They wouldn't let me in a fraternity!:lol::lol:

No Greek life at Notre Dame University.

Yes there is.

They wouldn't let me in a fraternity!:lol::lol:
Why not?
Sigma Phi Epsilon at Morehead State...

My son is a SigEp at MSU, just rushed this fall and absolutely loves it,

I was a little sis with PiKaps at MSU in the olden days. My daughter was a DZ also from MSU, my youngest wants to be in his brothers fraternity, he still has his non-greek friends and they don't try to push him from being with them, I feel this is a Win-Win situation.:thumb:

Why not?

Hmmmmm....let me think...cause I am a GIRL maybe!!! :lol::lol::lol:

Couldn't pay me to be in one.

Nope, not in one, not interested in being in one.

I am with you all on this, I just don't comprehend the need for them. They strike me as social clubs at best and hedonistic partiers at worst. Neither interest me.
