February 21, 200818 yr Pathetic. Makes you really wonder just how many student-athletes have no intention of actually graduating.
February 21, 200818 yr He led the team in interceptions. That will be another tough loss for an already struggling football team. @2. I think year two of Woodny will be a big difference, like it was for Nate Harris.
February 21, 200818 yr They said on WHAS radio today that he made out with a whopping $116. ...I guess he was planning to run to Mexico, but police caught up with him because his loot only allowed him to fill his gas tank twice.
February 21, 200818 yr Apparently this is not the first problem/incident with this kid. Sad, sad, sad!!! And by the way.....I think it's TUBBY'S FAULT!!!!!!!
February 21, 200818 yr Rod got busted back in his senior year of high school for going in with a friend and stealing $16,000 worth of equipment from the IT room. He then proceeded to jump out of the getaway car and got caught by police. UL had a lot of undocumented problems while Petrino was here. He did a great job of keeping most things under wraps, but make no mistake, Krag inherited a team with a lot of problems. I don't look for them to be much more successful this year, but he's building a good program and weeding out a lot of the negatives that had accumulated during Bobby's tenure. I can respect that.
February 21, 200818 yr And If he ever makes the pros, maybe Berman will call him Rod "I need legal" Council.
February 21, 200818 yr ^I agree. If there are those type of problems on the team, Krag needs to get rid of them. And if by doing so we go 6-6 again, so be it. The program will be better for it in the long run.
February 21, 200818 yr He was always late for class IF he showed up... not saying that's a precursor to robbery or anything, but he never did seem to care much about his future, IMO. I guess he won't have to worry about missing anything except court dates for a long while.
February 21, 200818 yr Mike Vick picks up a nice player for his prison team. Good call. I like your avatar.

February 22, 200818 yr Let me re-phrase. Does this incident make people look with a closer eye at some of Bobby P's players and support Coach Krag in his past disciplinary actions? I had this very argument with someone recently. This person was upset about Louisville's season, and saying hiring Kragthorpe was a mistake, that he didn't spend enough time in the football facility, etc. My argument was that a coach shouldn't have to spend ALL his time at the facility, and sacrifice his family for the football program. I didn't convince this person, I'm sure. Coach K did not recruit any of the players that have been dismissed, or gotten in trouble. When Jurich introduced Coach K, one of the most telling comments he made, the one that still sticks in my mind, is the emphasis he put on the fact that Coach K will bring integrity to the UL program.

I think I remember that argument.
