Aaron's the 5th, one left to be revealed. Can we assume that Kate is the only woman in the Oceanic 6 and that's why she has taken Aaron as her son? I also assume that Aaron was the "he" that Kate said was waiting for her in last season's finale which blows my far fetched Ben theory to pieces.

 

I caught that in Jack's testimony as well. Make me wonder more then ever what happened to make them all lie like that.

 

Good news, since the writer strike has ended I read that in addition to the 8 episodes that were already in the can, 5 more will be made for this season.

So, he is the 5th or 6th of the Oceanic 6.

In the extended LOST episode up here that airs at 8, (repeat of last week with popups to point out things) when Desmond saw the helicopter it pointed out that Desmond had saw and told Charlie that Claire (thanks) and Aaron left the island on a helicopter in one of his flash forwards.

 

I think people stayed on the island and to protect them from being found, the Oceanic 6 and two others that got off the island but died (Claire) was the story of who survived.

I got the feeling that Kate has told everyone that Aaron is her son (not adopted). If that's the case it would imply that Claire didn't get off of the island. But then again maybe they left on a copter but died later.

 

I, like HB, have avoided going to any of the spoiler sites but as more questions arise it has become harder to stay away.

Am I the only one that thinks the show has been very predictable thus far this year? It's clear they intended events like Sayid is working for Ben and Aaron, Claire's child, is with Kate to be big swerves, but I certainly felt that those were obvious. They carried absolutely no weight, nothing like finding out about the flashfoward at the end of last year.

 

Other than that, this season thus far has been great! My only regret is that the writer's strike will cheat us of 3 episodes, as there will only be 13 of the previously scheduled 16. I wonder if they'll add those three back in somewhere, or if the series will still just have 16 episodes for the next two seasons.

Every episode can't be like last seasons finale. I'm satisfied for now.

I wonder if something happens to Claire and Jack feels guilty because of either Claire's death or worse yet, Jack had Aaron and had to either choose to either leave the others behind (including Claire) on the island (the reason why the story said only 8 survived cause they didn't want people to know they left them behind) or them dying.

 

I am choosing the former and the reason why he keeps wanting to return to the island.

Who do we think the "two that survived the crash," but would have died on the island are? I would have to guess that they will mention Charlie for what he did, but who else? Remember there is only an "Oceanic Six", yet they say 8 survived the crash.
