Richard has been on the show numerous times. He recruited Ben to "The Others" originally and convinced Ben to help murder the people of the Dharma Initiative, including his own father.

 

Richard was also seen recruiting Juliet to the island, I believe.

 

Richard was also seen in Locke's flashback as a child.

 

Richard was seen with "the others" talking to Locke when Locke lived with them for an extended period of time.

Richard Alpert was the guy who recruited Juliett and he was the guy that Ben ran into in the woods when he was a little boy who told him to go back. He seems to age gracefully....to say the least.

We already saw the helicopter get to the island toward the end when they drop the "phone" to them on the beach.

Right but we don't know if Sayid may have already gotten there. At this point in time no plot twist is beyond the writers.

We see the Oceanic 6 returning to the United States.

 

We find out that Hurley starts going off the deep end quickly.

 

We see that Sun is really hacked off at her father and buys a controlling interest in his company with her settlement from the airline.

 

We see Sayid with Nadia (who we know dies don't we?)

 

We find out that Jack does indeed know Claire is his half sister meaning Aaron is his nephew and that from the start Kate has claimed to have given birth to him on the island, although at least one reporter sounded skeptical of her story.

 

What we don't know is how that particular six got together.

 

Sun and Aaron are on the freighter.

 

Sayid and Kate are with a group of Ben's people, likely the ones Ben warned with the signaling mirror.

 

Hurley is with Ben and Locke at the Orchid and Jack is going after him.

I like how they have done that as well. Should be interesting seeing the 6 come together.

This episode sure didn't disappoint in the usual Lost style of absoultely MESSING WITH YOUR MIND.

Wasn't as good of a finale as I expected. It was a good episode, but I saw most of that coming. I also had a feeling it would be Locke in the casket.

 

I guess he changed his name to Jeremy Bentham because supposedly no one else survived the crash, so he had to change his name. Question is, what was he doing back on the main land? Also, if they take him back to the island, will he come back to life, like Christian Sheppard did? Also, what was Locke saying to everyone? Did they all seem afraid of him?

Jin might not be dead, but most likely he is. It seems like whenever you think someone dies on this show, they still come back. Now we know Locke is dead in the future, but will he come back whenever they take him back to the island?

I'd say Jin is dead because say he survived the blast the island would have disapeared before he could have swam to shore.

Faraday's raft is out there somewhere, so they could find him and pick him up. Although then he'd just be stranded on a raft with nowhere to go. I saw screen caps from the finale where they show the boat just before it blows up, and there is no one standing on the ship, and no one around it in the water. Is it possible that they jumped off and swam away? Maybe. Maybe not. I'm still not 100% convinced that Jin is dead. He could be though...
