Okay I watched the episode today, and WOW! I really like Desmond's character, glad to see he did not die from that thing he was going through.

 

Very good episode. Odd though. Kinda weird how Daniel sent Desmond back in time to meet himself, to help Desmond, but also to help himself. Very weird. I'm LOST!

Could there be some kind of natural "time anomoly" centered on the island?

Yeah, I could tell it was on the island for some reason. I never thought it was a flash forward simply because she wasn't one of the oceanic survivors.

 

Aaron doesn't count for the Oceanic 6...he was born on the island.

 

I think the kid was conceived on the island, yes. That's why she is at risk of dying.

I think Michael is the spy on the boat. Remeber, he was given exact coordinates to follow when he left the island. The helicopter had to follow exact coordinates to get to the boat. Those coordinates have to be the only way on or off ther island.

I think the rocket delay is from some of time/future aspect that is going on. Our local station shows last week's episode at 8 with little tidbits at the bottom giving some more information. He said the Asian guy that is with the new group is named after some guy that is involved with the time space continum. Made me wonder if some of these people are not from the future and have created an island of refuge and there are others trying to track down Ben who is an escapee from the future.

 

If there was a missing 30 some minutes of the rocket, that might explain it.
