IMO, Montana.

I would take Elway as the best ever.

I think we'll have to wait about 20 years and look back and examine both of them when they are completed. I don't know if Favre will be done by then, but I'm sure that Favre would trade all the records for the Brady's Superbowl rings...

You had to be one of the kids that when asked if they wanted Coke or Pepsi you said "I want Sprite".

I couldn't disagree more with you on Elway. His accomplishments weren't what won him 2 super bowls, he rode TD to both of those wins. In fact, when he DID have his best seasons they weren't necessarily the Broncos best.

But to each their own I suppose........

At this rate, it won't even be a debate when Brady retires........

I'll go with Brady.

Although, it's really not a fair comparison at this point because Favre has nearly completed his body of work, while Brady, presumably, has far more left. Favre has the great all-time numbers, but I'll take 3 Super Bowls and the greatest single season for a QB in NFL history. Also, I've never seen Brady hurt his team to the extent that Favre has at times by trying to do too much.

Until Brady can do what Farve has done in his late 30's and maybe into his 40's then I'll take Farve.

Question 1

Favre. Brady is very good and has had success. But, Favre is the better QB. Favre makes everyone else look good. Brady, not knocking him, has had a better supporting cast that, at times has made him look good.

Question 2

Marino, without a doubt. Montana was one of the best in my opinion, but Marino was by what most modern QB are judged. Same argument as above. Montana had a great cast of players around him, with Rice, Clark, Craig, and Lott on Defense. The 49ers had a great team, no doubt. Marino was a great QB and held almost all the QB records, until Favre broke them all.

People were talking about Favre being washed up until this year...it's not like he's played this well every season. But, for the argument "who's had the better career", you can easily make a strong argument for Favre because of the simple fact that his career is near completion and Brady's is probably around the 50% mark.

It would be like asking the question, "Who's had the better career...A-Rod or Bonds?" Or, what if you'd ask this question in January of 2000 about Ken Griffey, Jr. and (fill in the blank).

Brady has the better supporting cast this year, but he hasn't always had the greatest out there. Favre had some as well, like Freeman, that dude could catch about anything.

Right now I would go with Favre as the best career, but when its all said and done this wont be no debate because Brady will be the best hands down.

Favre could beat up Brady. Therefore he's had the better everything.

Farve any time any game any year!

Nice!!! :lol::lol::lol:

And Favre is WAAAAAAAAAYYYYYYYYY better looking!!!! :D:D:D:D

You go for the rough and unshaven type, I guess.

I always though Brady looked more like Tony Danza then Favre.
