You keep getting on Bradley, but seriously what other options do we have out there? I mean we had 3 offensive guys who can score out there on the court at the end, and one of them really couldn't do anything because Patterson just kept getting his shot blocked by that guy. So all we really had was Crawford and Bradley. Its not like we had 4 other really good offensive players out there with him, because if we did then I would agree to get on him for forcing some things. However the shots he took, honestly were probably as good as shots as we were going to have last night with the players we had playing. I mean he had a couple of good open 3 looks, and he just didn't make them plain and simple. I guess you also forget it was Bradley who gave UK a chance to get back in it under a minute as well. He made two free throws, then got a steal and got fouled and made two more free throws, and then as you pointed out he is the one who passed it to Crawford for that three. So yeah normally some of the stuff he would do, might not be that smart. But considering the players we had on the court, a few of the things he did was actually some of our best options. You just got to realize that with Meeks and Jasper out, Bradley and Crawford are going to force things sometime. I mean I think Billy G realizes that, that is why you really dont see him get on them that much for some of those shots. I mean if Billy G would play AJ Steward a little more, we would have a guy who could help on offense a little more because he is athletic and has a decent little jumper. But Billy G wont play him, so when Patterson is getting shut down for most part like last night. We have to deal with Bradley and Crawford trying to do some things....

Also sorry to tell you, but next year is not looking so pretty at all. I mean those two guys we are getting, wont be any better on offense than what we have now, so we might even be worst on offense next year...

So your basically saying that Bradley should get a "pass" on some turnovers and bad shots just because the guys around him arent that good? Thats not how it works. As far as missing wide open 3's, I dont have a problem with that. Your not going to make everything and Ramel is a solid shooter. I just have a problem with the turnovers late in the game. Those can be avoided.

How do you figure he cost them the game? I mean what do you expect, we dont have many options on offense, so we hardly ever are just going to get a perfect look at the basket. Usually it is going to take Bradley, or Crawford making a hard shot for us to score...You say Bradley about cost the Vandy game, but Vandy was already on their run, before Bradley started taking some of those shots. I mean its not like we really have any better options than him anyways. Then guess what he also CLINCHED the game against Vandy by making that pull up jumper to put us up 4. Then last night he did not cost us the game at all, he had a couple of good looks and they just did not go in. Actually Bradley is the one who got us back into the game in the final seconds. First making two free throws, and then getting a steal and fouled and made two more free throws. Then he also is the one who passed the ball to Crawford who made the three. I mean I really think some of you all really just look for any of the bad things, and only remember them. Some of you all also need to realize we really dont have many other options on offense.

Maybe smart shots kill the run. Usually a couple baskets will do that. He is just a score first point guard, and unless they are super stars, they usually kill a team. Your right about KY not having opitions, but still you can find better shots, and passing the ball will do that. He hardly does that. Im not a UK fan so I'm not a part of the we. Just my opinion, I have mine and you have yours.

How did Bradley cost UK the game last night when they where playing from behind? Wouldn't UK have had to lost the lead for Bradley to cost them the game.

By taking dumb shots, you can find smarter shots, and if they find 2 better shots, they win by to rather than lose by two, he passes a little bit, they win the game IMO. They need Jasper back, so they have some one to distribute the ball.

As many have said he is a shooting guard HAVING to play the point. So its not like he is going to go in there, and play a perfect pg game. He is doing what he is accustomed to doing and that is trying to make plays. I dont know how many assists a game he averages, but usually it seems like I always see in the stats him having about 4 or 5 assists a game which is not bad. I mean he does drive the lane and tries to create passes for guys, sometimes though he just drives in to deep and gets himself into trouble, and that probably has to do with not really be a true PG...Also I mean once again we have all seen Billy G get on everyone this year for any little thing that he disagreed with. However have you seen Billy G get on Bradley at all during these game at the end when he is doing this? I know I sure haven't seen him get on him at all, he seems to have no problem with it at all. So my thinking is he probably tells Bradley to try to create somethings. He knows just as well as us, sometimes by doing that Bradley will make some mistakes, but you just have to take the bad with the good in that case since we are short handed.

Read post #126....Also you say we could find better shots, but how? Do you want him passing the ball to Coury, or Stevenson, or Harris, guys who wont do anything. If he gives the ball to Crawford, Crawford will do the same thing and try to force something. With only having 3 guys who can score on offense, most teams dont worry much about the other guys and focus on the them two and Patterson. So most of the time the shots we are going to take are going to shots that need to be forced a little bit, and not the most wide open shot.

My comment had nothing to do about OTS or Pitino. Im just saying that prior to both of them, UK very rarely lost at Miss St. Thats all. Dont read more into it then what the stat is.... Here's to hoping they turn it around.....

Obviously Miss. St. started to become a more successful program in that time. When you have teams with Erick Dampier and Dontae Jones its not the easy W it once was.

SEC teams tend to run in cycles of program status.

Believe it or not Miss State was UK's chief rival in the late 50's and early 60's. They owned Rupp and UK for that time.

Just like LSU in the late 70's and early 80's, Tennessee in the mid 70's, Florida now. All of them have runs and are competitive with UK.

I predicted UK to win this one, and they didn't. I thought with a win against Miss. State it could have made things a little better, and put UK at a winning record. Patterson was dominated by Miss. State's big man. He blocked him every other trip down the floor it seemed. I do think if Meeks is playing in this game, UK probably wins it...

Fist of all, I thought UK played their tails off. And I enjoyed watching them play so hard.

Secondly,

Did anyone else think the color-commentator was horrible! I forget his name, but he gets on my nerves. He said twice the other night that we were in a triangle and 2 on defense. He is clueless.

It was Jimmy Dykes. He was an assistant under Pitino at UK at one time I believe.

^ I beleive that it was under Eddie Sutton, not 100% sure.

I heard that triangle and 2 crap. He also kept saying stupid references to UK running their offense at 45 degree angles to the basket.
