January 16, 200818 yr Well having seen these to play, and having seen Miller play in High School, unless Liggins takes as many shots as Mayo, then im sure they share the ball a lot more then these to, they look to score every time, Bradley and Crawford. Bradley about cost UK the Vandy game taking unnessicary shots, and cost UK this game by doing the same. How do you figure he cost them the game? I mean what do you expect, we dont have many options on offense, so we hardly ever are just going to get a perfect look at the basket. Usually it is going to take Bradley, or Crawford making a hard shot for us to score...You say Bradley about cost the Vandy game, but Vandy was already on their run, before Bradley started taking some of those shots. I mean its not like we really have any better options than him anyways. Then guess what he also CLINCHED the game against Vandy by making that pull up jumper to put us up 4. Then last night he did not cost us the game at all, he had a couple of good looks and they just did not go in. Actually Bradley is the one who got us back into the game in the final seconds. First making two free throws, and then getting a steal and fouled and made two more free throws. Then he also is the one who passed the ball to Crawford who made the three. I mean I really think some of you all really just look for any of the bad things, and only remember them. Some of you all also need to realize we really dont have many other options on offense.

January 16, 200818 yr I think that we have established that the OFFICIALS lost this game for UK...ok on to Florida I guess. From what I seen the Officals were bad,but not the reason UK got beat... Since Miss St was getting away with being over physical,it's the cats own fault for not taking it right back at them...Eye for a Eye...:thumb:
January 16, 200818 yr 1996, the height of the Pitino success, maybe the greatest team in UK history loses to Mississippi State in the championship game of the SEC tournament.73 to 84. I was at that game in New Orleans, and to this day, I still believe that Pitino wanted to lose that game, or at least wasn't too disappointed in the loss. I think he felt he needed to regain their focus going into the tournament. They had won 27 straight games since losing to UMass the first week of the season. He benched Antoine for most if not all of the game. Needless to say it worked as they cut down the nets in Jersey three weeks later. :ylsuper:

There is no fifth one. He may have been counting the loss they had in 89, but that was at the end of the 88-89 season. Pintino started coaching at the beginning of the 89-90 season
