Your right they will be a lot more smart and unselfish.

And how do you know this when they have not played the first game in College.

Bottom line.....this team isn't deep with talent to start with. Throw in the injuries that we have sustained and it doen't matter who the coach is, we are going to struggle this year. Until we get another post presence to go along side PP, he is going to struggle against good teams because they are going to do whatever it takes to shut him down.

I am pleased with the way they are starting to compete. I think they are finally starting to buy into what BCG is selling, and when he gets a full roster of healthy players playing the way he wants, I think they will be very fun to watch! Yes, this year is frustrating and disappointing, but I'm excited about the future. :thumb:

The officials in this game were pathetic. I guess elbows and forearms are part of the ball though - as long as you have the rep as the nation's best shot blocker.

That sounds like Big East basketball.

Dude' date=' what is your deal with BCG... Did you even watch any of the game last night, UK was using the shot fake. Numerous times I saw players shot fake but Varando was quick enough off his feet to go back up and alter the shot. One time I know Patterson shot faked him to get him in the air only to go up and try to draw a foul but instead Varando still blocked him. I can handle your opinion on Gillispie but atleast try to back it up with something that happened in the game.[/quote']

I'm saying 3 times of the 16 blocks recorded were maybe shot fake. These guys got 3's blocked at least 3 times. Trying to shoot over people. UK fans and BCG deserve each other. I find myself rooting against them because of this moron on the bench!

Tubby also recruited Stevenson, Porter, Williams, Carter, Coury, Perry, etc....who have no business being at an SEC school.

Cats will win under BCG and win BIG.

Be ready for some crow.

Tell us how you really feel.:D

I can overlook all of your ranting and raving about Tubby Smith and BCG, but for the love of God - you shouldn't talk about Bill Keightley like that.

Naismath was an under 500% coach.

Ok then, Dean Smith couldn't win with this team without Meeks and Jasper.

Well if BCG would maybe teach some post moves some of the blocks would be fouls. Here's a new one how about a shot fake? What an up and under move? Both Tubby and Ricky P taught the ball/shoulder opposite spin move, yet to see it this season. And yes this team has gotten better, after losses to Gardener-Webb, and San Diego as Vince Lombardi would say "when you reach rock bottom you can only go up from there." Thank you BCG for taking UK to Rock Bottom!!!!!

Name one good team Tubby has beaten.

You obviously haven't watched the games then. I've seen BCG encourage the guys a lot. Especially during the Vandy game. I guess you only see what you want to see.

BCG also talks to the guys when he pulls them out of the game. I like that.

On the contrary, I have watched every game except for the New Year's Eve game against FIU. I was actually in Rupp's lower level for the Vandy game.

Admittedly, I have no idea what BCG is saying when players come off of the floor; however, it seems to me that players are expecting to come out when they make a mistake (except Patterson, Bradley and now Crawford). When they do, BCG stops them at the end of the bench and seems upset with them - and rightfully so. My point is that, in many game situations, you have to make them aware of what they've done wrong and correct it in practice.

I am yet to see BCG give a player a high-five or a slap on the butt as they hustle back to the bench. I was always taught that practice should be so hard that the games seem like a breeze. It seems BCG follows those same principles. I hope I'm wrong, but I'd just love to see BCG offer more encouragement during games. That's not the time to have your players timid, intimidated or thinking.

I have seen him give Porter and Crawford high fives and slaps on the rear end. There may be more, but I haven't seen it.

Try again.....I don't think anybody has over a 500% winning percentage. :p

How bout .500 is that better.

Was this the first triple double posted on UK since D. Wade?

Well having seen these to play, and having seen Miller play in High School, unless Liggins takes as many shots as Mayo, then im sure they share the ball a lot more then these to, they look to score every time, Bradley and Crawford. Bradley about cost UK the Vandy game taking unnessicary shots, and cost UK this game by doing the same.
