If he left or was let go during this season, IMO he would never coach at the D-1 level again, but I see him having much success in 2 or 3 years.

I say three years, if Gillispie can't gat it done after three years, then he's done as the head Coach at UK.

You can't totally judge Billy G until about 4 years in. That's one whole class from freshman to senior and I think he'll get things going by then. I liked Tubby and BCG was my first choice to replace him so I think he needs some time.

As the old lady in the "Neverending Story" said "It has to hurt if it's going to heal." That's what it's going to be with UK.

You don't need five years. You can show what you can do with 3, and 4 at the most.

 

Lets remember THIS year isn't over yet (though we may look back and wish it had been). I'm confident BCG will get things going.

That it is an ironically funny statement, since he was judged to be fit to coach AT UK without having coached for 4 years at his previous two stops.
