Man if your name was Steelers people would be all over you for BASHING THE KIDS .:jump::jump:

 

That is because all you do is bash kids, coaches and anyone else who volunteers their time to help high school girls basketball. Like others have said so many times before, it really sounds like you had a daughter that just did not live up to your expectations?

Grant then Owen, two good opportunities to prove themselves. Both should be very winable games for the Lady Bearcats based on pre-season expectations, but with their struggles lately both could be interesting. Two wins could make a big difference in their season, where two loses could be nails in the coffin. What do you think??

Are you talking about moving up 7th and 8th graders? They only have a handful of Freshmen and one Soph. Doesn't a coach have something to do with preparing the girls to get the job done?

I would agree it's time to start preparing for next year. But that has nothing to do with players.

Did the previous coach have any success in the post season or the all A? I am unfamiliar with the girls program and don't really know what the expectaions should have been.

Jeanie I could not agree with you more!!! I know that several of the varsity players want to play and do well. During several games, all of the varsity players were taken out in the third quarter and did not return to the game. Talk about frustration!! It has been truly disappointing to watch!!

Yeah. It seems to some, that it's the players, but it really isn't. I just wish things would change. I miss these girls out there playing with heart, and passion. It's a great group of girls. Any coach would be blessed to have these girls.

The Walton Verona girls will be fired up and ready to play for the all A tourney. This is the last chance for this senior loaded team. If they can put together a couple complete games, cut down on turnovers, and keep their competion under 46 points, they will be a threat to win on any night. I hope they can make a run, they will have a lot of fans there to support them. The all A tourney should be a very exciting one this year with no clear dominate team in the 8th. Good luck to the WV lady bearcats. I wish all the teams a fun, safe and exciting tourney.

Unfortunate that this situation sounds as if some things need to be changed. As a growing area and a very solid school district I would have to think this job would appeal to a great many people.Hopefully things will all fall into place soon. I have always found that there is a Great group of people to deal with out at Walton.
