November 25, 200718 yr Derrick Locke, Tony Dixon, and Moncell Allen return. Brandon Jackson is a kid many in the UK camp are excited about. Kyrus Lanxter will be a nice target next year at WR. Dickie Lyons, Jr. will be back as well. Offensive line should be good shouldn't it? Kentucky may need Jr. college help at WR positions this winter. QB Pulley should be explosive.

Offensive line may struggle again next year, we lose C Eric Scott and G Jason Leger, but we were able to get several guys some experience this year. The offensive line really needs to be solid for the Cats to have success next year.

November 26, 200718 yr The strangest thing about this rumor is that it comes out on Saturday morning on a national radio show and not by the local media. That is certainly a rarity for the reporters that cover Big Blue Nation. IMO, the timing of this is just all wrong. Which leads me to believe a coach in the SEC that feels threatened by the Cats comes out late last week and gets the rumor started by telling a national media person. Saturday was one of the biggest days for recruits visiting the campus. I'm sure every one of those kids got a call from other schools to tell them about the rumor. I hope its not true. If it is, I can already hear the quotes from the new coach about how we will have to wait until they can recruit players that can play in the SEC (Justification for a 5-7 season)
November 26, 200718 yr There are always unforseeable events that happen in one's life to change things, but Rich Brooks said last summer that he would like to coach five more years. He is 66 years old, in great physical condition, and unless health issues for himself or his family become a factor, I see him retiring as Kentucky's coach in five years. Also, I will say with nearly 100% certainty that he is neither a candidate nor will he take another job at this juncture.

November 26, 200718 yr Other than the e-mail fiasco at Arkansas, why wouldn't Nutt be a good choice? When he thrashed us when I was at WKU, I had supreme respect. But he has the overall APPEARANCE of a very dis-organzied system, and program.....I would be hard pressed to change that opinion.
