November 25, 200718 yr There are some rumblings out there that Rich Brooks will step down at season's end. Callers after the game mentioned this. It appears that Jim Donnan said this on College Gameday Tailgate on the radio this morning. Doesn't seem to have any credence. When Brooks came to Kentucky, he said he was going to have the longest tenure of any UK fball coach. That would be 10 years, he's been here 5. If it does happen, no way Barnhart hires a coach without previous head coaching experience.
November 25, 200718 yr On one hand I can see Brooks leaving, knowing it will be back to the drawing board with all of the seniors graduating, but then he's got UK back to being a respectable football team so why not stick around and see what he can make out of things.
November 25, 200718 yr Joker is not ready for a head coaching job in the SEC. I really don't think that he is either. I like Joker and the job he is doing, just like you I don't think he is ready for a head coaching job right now.
November 25, 200718 yr He's losing everything from this team...I would leave if I were him. Lets not exaggerate. He is losing almost everything from the offense as far as skill positions.
November 25, 200718 yr Author I think that UK will be better than many think. They lose some key skill players, but I think you wil see a shift in their offense to more of a spread attack. Defense returns everyone but Woodyard and Pryor, and despite some gashings, they played well enough at times this year. Personally, I don't think CRB will step down.
