November 27, 200718 yr Tonight on the Rich Brooks call-in show he said message boards take on a whole new kind of media and that this was just that, a rumor and that he guaranteed that it was false. He said he has never even considered it and thought it was funny that within a year and half time that he was being fired and retired! He said he will continue to stay at UK until he is the longest tenured coach at UK and then longer. Rumour DENIED!!!!!!!

November 27, 200718 yr Duncan and Johnson who split time with Leger at the two guard positions will step in and be a nice replacement for Leger. Not losing much there except for depth. Pretty much all of the tackles on the roster are back, and a center can be found without a doubt. I dont see Scott as a huge loss. Duncan will have a full year under his belt and should be able to be a very good guard for them next year. Johnson hopefully will get to participate in spring practice this year and look better for next year. Leger was a strong guy, but I think next year the guard positions will have an improvement from this year. I really hope Zipp continues to improve the way he has over the past year. I think he has the athleticism and feet to be a great offensive lineman in the SEC. It would be great to see him continue to add some bulk and become a dominant guard. Our tackles seemed to cost us at least 2-3 penalties per game this year, I would say that is pretty close to average, but as an old Offensive Tackle this bothers me. With a full year of experience, hopefully we'll see Garry Williams and Justin Jeffries become even better. I think the major focus of this coaching staff should be developing this offensive line. With a dominant offensive line you can do practically anything you want to on the offensive side of the ball.
