My wife goes shopping. She is way into it. One of the crazies that no matter what, is going shopping at 4 a.m. I stay home w/ the kids. I don't know what I'll do when I don't have that excuse to fall back on.

but my son wants a wii for Christmas and it is either camp out for a early spot in line or pay double on Ebay. I love my son but won't pay double. I will camp out at Game Stop for one. Going to get there around midnight and wait the 7 hours.

My fiance's dad stood at Wal-Mart from 3 PM til midnight because they were getting 10 in stock and he wanted to get her sister one (attempt was successful)... Possibly I'll understand if/when I have kids, but there's a point where you just have to stop and say "what am I doing?"

You definately WILL understand when you have kids. I never thought I would do such things either. However, in my years of parenthood, I have searched high and low for Power Ranger figurines, fought for the latest beanie baby, bought many worthless Poke-E-Mon cards, over paid for an X-box 360 on e-bay and stood in line for a Wii.

It becomes quite a sport after awhile. I have to admit I did it so that my little ones (now big ones) would have the perfect Holiday, birthday, etc. Are they spoiled because of it? Definately, but I dont regret a single hunt.

I will be out Friday briefly, but not too early. We are feeding our boys for a football game Friday at lunch. Another thing I wouldnt miss for anything.

BTW, they were paving the roads around the back entrance to Crestview Hills Mall today. Hope they are done by Fri.

I went one year with my wife. I will not do it again. People were laughing at me when I said it was worst than Marine Corps bootcamp!

I am pondering visiting the Wal-Mart in Shelbyville, I have heard that it is almost never busy even on Black Friday.

 

Of course knowing my luck I will get trampled.

I won't be shopping, but driving to the other side of the family for thanksgiving.

They tried to jerk me around on the money, so I told them to find someone else. That got the number back to what I wanted. All three full time engineers are on vacation and I'm the only one left in the building that knows the job, so I had some leverage.

 

I will not be talking at all. Just making sure the station stays on the air. They are running it like any normal day except all of the on air shifts are from the mall.
