but my son wants a wii for Christmas and it is either camp out for a early spot in line or pay double on Ebay. I love my son but won't pay double. I will camp out at Game Stop for one. Going to get there around midnight and wait the 7 hours.

I've got a friend who works at a Game Stop here in Pikeville... I asked her how hard it is to get a Wii and she said that they are like mythical creatures there and they rarely see them. She said they will have them at 7 AM on Friday but they're expecting them gone within 5 minutes... I've been trying to get one for my brother.

 

Ebay Express has some decent deals... That's probably where I'll end up going. Gotta act fast though.. That price goes up every passing day...

My fiance's dad stood at Wal-Mart from 3 PM til midnight because they were getting 10 in stock and he wanted to get her sister one (attempt was successful)... Possibly I'll understand if/when I have kids, but there's a point where you just have to stop and say "what am I doing?"

Absolutely... I do anyways. That's what happens when you work for a phone company working on DSL and are too stressed to have a life when you get home. :lol:

For what it's worth, if somebody wants to give me a Wii for sitting on BGP for 9 hours, I'm in.

I did last year for the first time. We got up early, had exactly down what we wanted at each store and was gone in about 2 hours. It helps to scan the ads and have a plan.

 

It was not bad. but I will not go back.

 

Also, go to the lesser shopped stores, smaller crowds.
