I got up at 3:30 this morning, headed to the Pikeville Wal-mart and wanted to cry. The plasma screen 42" TV's were the hot seller but everything was going quick. My girlfriend stood to get a microwave and literally had to crawl underneath and between some guy's legs in order to get one (they only had 11). They only had 2 computer bundles so I went to radioshack and it was quite calm there. No big hurry, and the big seller there was the GPS systems. Went to Goody's and Kmart and those were by far the worse places to be, because of lack of organization and lack of registers open!

 

We got everything we went for except for the HP digital camrea and printing dock!

So, for all of those who braved the crowds today, let's hear what you got.

Actually it went very smoothly here in Cynthiana...much calmer than it was in Richmond a year ago.

 

The fiance went to Kohls around 3:30 this morning. And thankfully my dad sat in for me at Walmart for a few hours for the tv, which has earned him a very good seat for any game that he wants to watch!!!

Its amazing the deals/merchandise you can get at the Dollar Store. It's been FREEZING in my room the past few nights, so I went to the $ Store to see if I could find a small heater, and sure enough I did. It was 20 bucks, and in the 15 minutes I've had it hooked up, it has already warmed my room up...:ylsuper:

I went to Walmart and got the Garmin c330 I love this thing. Inside of Walmart was mostly a stand still in all the main aisles.

What a long, stupid day. At least I was getting paid to deal with it...

I won't be shoppoing until next week. I am doing most of my shopping online. (and early)

I had to take my mom to work at Jefferson Mall (she manages Hickory Farms) at 10:30 am. Little traffic but the Mall was packed but not much I wanted there so I left and stopped by my work on Bardstown Rd then went to Staples and got Mom a digital picture frame. With traffic not looking bad at that point around 11:30 I went out to Garden Ridge to check out the $199 home theater recliners and bought myself one for a b-day gift. Then met friends at Famous Dave's then off to Churchill Downs, followed by Beef OBRady's. got home around 10pm and put the recliner together, going back tomorrow to get another (can only fit one at a time in my Explorer). Saturday will be earlier Mom has to be there at 7am.

Shopping on the internet is great. I only go shopping if it's early in the morning before the crazy people come out for the bargain's.
