I don't know who will win but I will still say that imo D. McFadden is THE BEST football player in college fotball...........BAR NONE!

Having said that, imo Dixon is probably in the lead for it right now. He is very good but in no way deserves it over McFadden.

If Michigan continues to win, including beating the Buckeyes (with a big rushing game), Mike Hart could win this thing.

:thumb: I agree, Hart is certainly not out of the running.

I would question anyone who puts Colt Brennan in above either Woodson or Brohm.

What?!? You aren't impressed with his numbers against the 'brutal' schedule he has played? I mean Sisters of the Poor College and Podunk State University aren't considered top flight competition? ;)

Actually, while I think McFadden is awesome, ... Dixon has been tremendous and he is leading his team towards a possible BCS title game shot. I think he absolutely deserves the award if Oregon keeps playing and winning the way he has performed.

It's either Dixon or McFadden. If those two collapse, Tebow, Woodson, Hart sneak back into consideration. Ryan should be eliminated. He's horrible. As for Brennan. Didn't he have 5 interceptions in one game. That would be horrible against a good defense like OSU's, but it was against another WAC school if memory serves me right. His numbers are a product of the system, the only difference between him and Timmy Chang is that Brennan has NFL size and arm strength. If he even makes it to New York, it should be a crime, and those who voted for him should never be allowed to vote again. But, hopefully someone on that pitiful schedule will knock them off, and everyone will forget about him for the heisman. Pat White seems to dissapear in big game, USF, UofL last year. SO i take him out. Also, he doesn't pass enough to win and his rushing numers are good, but take a hit from Slaton and Co., IMO. And I'm a Pat White fan, I would love to see him in NY, but in all honesty he shouldn't be there. I think Slaton would be more deserving.

McFadden!

I think when hes at his best McFadden is the best player, but hes been injured so much and had a couple bad games that I believe it hurts him. Now, if he goes off for the rest of the year, then I could see him sliding back into the picture.

Fork and done

1. Tebow

2. Everybody else

If this award really was for the best player in the country or who is the most valuable player to their team no one does more than Timmy T.

Woodson won't win but I think he deserves to be invited.

I think it comes down to these 5. With #5 having an outside shot.

1) Dennis Dixon

2) Dennis Dixon

3) Dennis Dixon

4) Dennis Dixon

5) Darren McFadden

1. Tebow

2. Everybody else

Dixon does just as much, if not more, for his team.
