buzzer beater Posted November 4, 2007 Posted November 4, 2007 After another wild week in college football who is on top for the Heisman? My list... Dennis Dixon - Dixon has helped Oregon to back to back wins against top 25 teams, and IMO still the best all around QB in the country. Stats - 167 of 246 - 2,074 passing yards - 20 TD's - 3 INT's - 549 rushing yards - 8 TD's Tim Tebow - UF isn't unbeaten or in the top 5 like they should be but Tebow is putting up big numbers. Stats - 151 of 223 - 2,228 passing yards - 21 TD's - 4 INT's - 598 rushing yards - 14 TD's Mike Hart - Hart continues to help UM climb back up the polls with his dominating games. Stats - 215 carries - 1,188 yards - 12 TD's Pat White - White has led W. VA back into the NC race and is helping his Heisman run with his nice numbers. Stats - 91 of 130 - 1,070 passing yards - 9 TD's - 2 INT's - 656 rushing yards - 9 TD's Darren McFadden - DM may have climbed his way back into the Heisman race with his HUGE game against South Carolina. Stats - 223 carries - 1,316 yards - 12 TD's Colt Brennan - Brennan still has Hawaii unbeaten and reaching for the top 10 for the first time all year. Stats - 225 of 328 - 2,820 passing yards - 26 TD's - 11 INT's Chase Daniel - Has led Missouri to 8 wins with his nice games and big numbers. Stats - 254 of 370 - 2,954 passing yards - 23 TD's - 9 INT's Matt Ryan - I know, I know. BC lost. But Ryan had a big game and his numbers still look nice. Stats - 243 of 409 - 2,848 passing yards - 21 TD's - 11 INT's Others... Ray Rice - 255 carries - 1,257 yards - 14 TD's Andre Woodson - 215 of 337 - 2,431 passing yards - 28 TD's - 7 INT's Michael Crabtree - 104 catches - 1,512 recieving yards - 18 TD's Graham Harrell - 385 of 524 - 4,412 passing yards - 38 TD's - 11 INT's Chris Wells - 195 carries - 1,165 rushing yards - 10 TD's Steve Slaton - 151 carries - 825 rushing yards - 13 TD's Jonathan Stewart - 177 carries - 1,142 rushing yards - 10 TD's
bugatti Posted November 4, 2007 Posted November 4, 2007 If I were handicapping the Heisman race right now... 1) Dennis Dixon 2) Tim Tebow 3) Pat White 4) Darren McFadden 5) Mike Hart
RockPride Posted November 4, 2007 Posted November 4, 2007 Matt Ryan - I know, I know. BC lost. But Ryan had a big game and his numbers still look nice. Stats - 243 of 409 - 2,848 passing yards - 21 TD's - 11 INT's He threw for a lot of yards, but that is all 49% completion pct, and 3 int's doesn't look even average.
buzzer beater Posted November 4, 2007 Author Posted November 4, 2007 He threw for a lot of yards, but that is all 49% completion pct, and 3 int's doesn't look even average. True. He had a bad game. Everyone does and this was his. You can't cound him out IMO.
RockPride Posted November 4, 2007 Posted November 4, 2007 My Top 5 now: 1 - Dennis Dixon 2 - Mike Hart 3 - Tim Tebow 3 - Andre Woodson 3 - Brian Brohm I know that the latter aren't likely, but IMO they are people that DESERVE to be there.
RockPride Posted November 4, 2007 Posted November 4, 2007 True. He had a bad game. Everyone does and this was his. You can't cound him out IMO. 10/13 @Notre Dame - W 27-14, - 32 - 49 - 291 - 65.3 - 2 - 1 - 124.58 10/25 @Virginia Tech W 14-10, - 25 - 52 - 285 - 48.1 - 2 - 2 - 99.12 11/3 Florida State L 27-17, - 26 - 53 - 415 - 49.1 - 2 - 3 - 115.96 83 / 154 - 53.8% - 991 - 6 td - 6 int, very blah... These are his stat lines in his last three games.....very average, to below average....he SHOULD've demolished ND...didn't...and played awful the last two weeks.....he is ho-hum at best.
sportanalyst$ Posted November 4, 2007 Posted November 4, 2007 I think that Dennis Dixon will win the heisman but do not stop looking at Colt Brennan, if they go to a BCS bowl he will be highly considered!
buzzer beater Posted November 5, 2007 Author Posted November 5, 2007 I think that Dennis Dixon will win the heisman but do not stop looking at Colt Brennan, if they go to a BCS bowl he will be highly considered! I would watch out for Brennan as well.
gchs_uk9 Posted November 5, 2007 Posted November 5, 2007 If Michigan continues to win, including beating the Buckeyes (with a big rushing game), Mike Hart could win this thing.
cshs81 Posted November 5, 2007 Posted November 5, 2007 I would question anyone who puts Colt Brennan in above either Woodson or Brohm.
