Are we staring straight into the face of a OSU-BC National Championship Game?

If this happens, the hills will be ringing for a change to a Playoff system.

If this does happen, I would say we will see a change in the way the national championship is determined next year. It would be ths straw that broke the camel's back.

No...Neither of these Teams will play for the NC.

I don't think so. One of them will lose a game and be knocked out.

The system isn't going to change regardless of who makes the title game. But people seem to enjoy griping about it, so carry on...

It certainly will cause a lot of discussion but I would not look for any changes to be made.

The bigger issue is how you have two teams at 1 and 2 with the schedules they've played. When you read "BC faces their first test" prior to the VT game, that's a problem.

Boston College will lose at least one game, but Ohio St. may end up in the title game again if they can beat Michigan, which I kind of doubt.

If it happens then I think there should be a boycott around the U.S.! I LOVE college football but that might be the only way to get them to wake up! Penn State has a chance to change that this weekend so I'm not going to jump the gun on this game just yet.

If BC goes undefeated then they definently deserve to be in the title game when you look at their remaining schedule.

Instead of changing the system perhaps more teams will move to weak conferences or go independent. It seems to not matter who you beat anymore, just beat someone.

This bugs me. Ohio State's big challenge is from a team barely ranked. A teamed ranked that low would be a welcome rest for some teams.

Well so what if it happens? Who plays in the college NC game has no bearing on myself at all. Whoevers playing, I'll probably watch the game, go to sleep, get up the next morning and begin my day. I like to watch good games, so I just hope thats what it is. I don't know how many on here are directly impacted by who plays in this game, but I'd guess not many. So I will go with So what, who cares? And if you do care, why it is such a big deal for you?

I agree and hope your right. :thumb:

Im looking at their remaining schedule, and I dont exactly see where if they beat those team that it shows that they are one of the top 2 teams in the country...The #1 and 2 teams in the country right now, are playing in the two weakest conferences in America when it comes to the major conferences...You can throw A LOT of teams from across the country and give them the schedule that OSU and BC has, and good chance those teams would be undefeated now as well...
