Well so what if it happens? Who plays in the college NC game has no bearing on myself at all. Whoevers playing, I'll probably watch the game, go to sleep, get up the next morning and begin my day. I like to watch good games, so I just hope thats what it is. I don't know how many on here are directly impacted by who plays in this game, but I'd guess not many. So I will go with So what, who cares? And if you do care, why it is such a big deal for you?

Because they beat a 4-3 Maryland team and a 5-2 Clemson team? That gets you in?

OSU will be in the national championship game, BC will not be there... I could see BC slipping against Florida State november 3rd. Yes, Fsu hasnt shown much at all this season but with BC coming off a Vtech win they are very vulnerable. If they dont lose that game i still see them losing to someone else.

I can't see them both making it. I would expect some "aggressive lobbying" from the SEC contingent for LSU (or whoever wins the conference) or the Big XII contingent for Oklahoma or Kansas.

 

The perception is that both Ohio State and Boston College are not as good as their undefeated records suggest. Voters showed last year they are susceptible to loud talking from coaches and athletic directors; why would it not happen again this year?

Their schedule is weak and last night was the one quality game they have to face. They could stub their toe on the way in, but I doubt it. That schedule isn't good.

The system isn't going to change regardless of who makes the title game. But people seem to enjoy griping about it, so carry on...

That means everybody stays home and watches anything but Bowl Subdivision College Football. For all bowl games. Nobody watch. Nobody patronize the sponsors of the bowls. Watch the Championship Subdivision instead. Patronize the sponsors of those games. That's the only way a playoff system will be instituted for the major colleges and the BCS goes away.

So the ACC is not a BCS conference and those aren't quality opponents? No its not the SEC but going undefeated in a BCS conference is and should be good enough to put you in the title game. But they'll lose two games this season. One may come in the ACC title game if not sooner.

If BC goes perfect and wins the ACC Championship then they deserve there shot at the title. But I dont see it happening...

I think that it is way too early to say that these two will be there, both have some big games left.

 

Should both remain unbeaten and one or both make it to the NC then imo most of the people that will be whining about it are ones whose teams Have Lost games to lesser teams that they should have beaten. Ohio State and BC has Won those games along with their others so far. No room for anyone that has lost to weak teams and not taken care of business to complain.

Since when are they asking me for an opinion? Undefeated BCS schools get first crack. Don't seem to remember a 1 loss BCS in over any undefeated BCS. BC had zero control over ND and the ACC being down. OSU had zero control over Washington and the Big 11 being down. The 6 BCS Conferences set up this monopoly path to the pot of gold, and it's not going to change. They will get the votes, and the computer love the system requires. Simple as that...
