October 26, 200718 yr 1. Laurence Olivier 2. James Stewart 3. Humphrey Bogart 4. Sidney Portier 5. Spencer Tracey Well, I only know three of them but I can't disagree! Are you saying yu don't know Sir Laurence Oliver nor Spencer Tracey?
October 26, 200718 yr Has anyone ever hear of Yul Brenner? In my opinion the greatest actor of all time. Oh yeah.. and that Val Kilmer....a close #2. You had me with Mr. "King and I" until you then threw in Val F. Kilmer. Yikes.
October 26, 200718 yr You had me with Mr. "King and I" until you then threw in Val F. Kilmer. Yikes. Find a better Doc Holiday,Jim Morrison or Batman!! LOL!
October 26, 200718 yr I agree on Gene Hackman and Morgan Freeman. I didn't care much for Ed Harris in "Eye for an Eye". I'll add Greg Kinnear to the list. Very underrated actor. Gene Hackman may be the most underrated of all time. His career would have been in the crapper had he gotten the role of Mike Brady ahead of Robert Reid. Can you imagine? I like Gene Hackman a lot, and his work overwhelmingly falls in the good/great category. But let's face it, he mailed it in with "The Replacements," essentially rehashing his Norman Dale role.
October 26, 200718 yr Steve McQueen The coolest man to walk the face of the earth I like your thinking ... :thumb:
October 26, 200718 yr And, I gotta give a shout out to Ben Stiller... I'm not a real avid movie-goer, so I've managed to miss some of his bigger sins. But what I do like about him is he is willing to go that extra step in terms of physical comedy and self-depracation that works for me. I laugh hysterically any time I watch "Dodgeball" and times when he plays similar over-the-top roles. Plus, his short-lived Fox network skit show was freakin' outstanding. Stiller is best as Bono.
October 26, 200718 yr Find a better Doc Holiday,Jim Morrison or Batman!! LOL! Christian Bale was a much better Batman.
October 26, 200718 yr Christian Bale was a much better Batman. Actually...I liked him,too mainly because he was in the best of the Batman movies...Still like Kilmer,too...guess I'm undecided on that...point to you! Then,of course, there's Adam West...LOL!!

I love Stiller. He gives over-acting a good name actually. Zoolander is another great "over the top" Stiller role. "Go ahead, make your jokes, Mr. Jokey... Joke-maker. But let me hit you with some knowledge. Quit now." "Do it".....
October 26, 200718 yr Edward Norton Philip Seymour Hoffman Brad Pitt Johnny Depp Great list. I'm a huge Norton fan and like I said before PSH is probably the most underrated actor of our time imo. I think Depp has to be in the top 5 best actors of all time as well.
