You have to understand that the Buckeyes can only play the teams thats on their schedule. And the way this season is going Vandy could beat the Buckeyes, or the Buckeyes win out and destroy whoever in the BCS Championship game.

If OSU played an SEC schedule, they would be 5-3 or 4-4 right now.

I guess it wasn't as impressive as that 7 point victory of the juggernaut that is MSU...

 

Hows.. your team doing? I think your program has plenty of problems to worry about, before you judge anyone else.

If LSU wins out, you'll see them in the title game--whether they have some close calls or not.

I don't think LSU's D is as good as OSU's.

 

Ohio State has gave up 4 TD's on offense, LSU has gave up 15.

 

Ohio State gives up an average of 209 yards a game, LSU gives up close to 233.

 

Well look at OSU's schedule and that's why they've only given up 4 TD's.

Ohio State would obviously have tougher time in the SEC, everyone knows that the SEC is by far the best conference in the nation.

 

IMO to say that the Buckeyes would lose to 7 of the SEC teams that were listed above in another post is just crazy.

Yes, the Buckeyes may lose one or two depending on which division they were in. Imo they would be in the top tier (probably 1,2 or 3 ) of the conference regardless which division, The Buckeyes may not win it and I am not saying that. I am saying that they would compete very well and be at the top level of the conference and would possibly beat anyone in the conference on a given day.

 

I love the Buckeyes but I am also a huge SEC fan. iI love U.K. as well and am a fan of Bama and UGA as well.

 

I am just a college football fan and there are really a very few teams that I actually despise. I would rather watch any NCAA football than any NFL anytime.

Ohio State is a good team in a weak conference (#6 according to both Massey and Sagarin). I would love to see the Cats play them in a bowl game. But with Michigan being the only team with a good shot at beating the Buckeyes in the regular season, I don't expect that the match-up will happen. I hope that Ohio State is matched up with whichever team wins the SEC again.

You cant really compare the Big 10 and Sec anymore.....SEC is the greatest conference ever!!!!!!!!!!!

the sec is the hardest conference. In the last 3 weeks UK hade to play 3 ranked teams and they still got tuff games coming up. Ohio State may play three ranked teams all year and thats it.

Illinois is very good this year. Williams and Mendenhall are the real deal.

Those are not good offenses, those are decent offenses. The best offense out of that bunch is Michigan State, and they are definitely nothing to get all excited about...

 

I mean compare that to the teams LSU defense has played... VTech, South Carolina, Florida, UK, and Auburn...Vtech offense is not that great, but they are a really good team. South Carolina well you have even talked about how great Spurrier is with gameplanning, and well shut them down pretty good. South Carolina alone is better than any of the offenses OSU has seen. Then add Florida and UK who both have probably 2 of the top 5 offenses in the country. Then Auburn who is not an offensive juggernaut but is a really good team..Not to mention all those teams are filled with speed that give defenses problems. OSU has not seen any really tough offenses, and definitely none with much speed...

IMO, Purdue and Michigan States offenses are both better than SC's. Painter is a better QB by far than anyone SC has got. SC does have the good wide out in Mckinley but that's it. Michigan State's running back's are better than SC's too IMO.
