There is a good chance UK could win out and not end up in the SEC championship.

 

At the end of the season, that would put them at 10-2 on a 4 game winning streak.

 

Lets say the winner of the UF/South Carolina game wins out (I'd say theres a pretty high chance of that happening). They will most likely play LSU in the SEC championship. The other will have 3 losses, and be out of BCS contention.

 

If UF/South Carolina win, LSU most likely gets an at large spot.

If LSU wins, UK would be the only other SEC team with fewer than 3 losses, and I think they could pull in an at large bid.

Yep. If LSU wins out, but loses in the championship game, I think they'll still make the BCS. If the SEC East representative loses, they're out of the BCS, IMO. They'll have 3 losses, and thats not BCS material. Although, I don't think the computers count 2 losses to the same team, so that would help UF/USC.

It's a disadvantage because not all of the big conferences play them. A pretty big problem in college football IMO.
