October 21, 200718 yr If they did play it would be in the Outback Bowl or Capital One. tOSU is a good team but if UK could torch the LSU defense then we could do the same thing to Ohio St.
October 21, 200718 yr Not ANYBODY. I could name a lot of teams Kentucky couldn't beat. Couldn't? BS. Kentucky DID beat the pretty much undisputed #1 team in LSU. There isn't a team in the country that UK wouldn't have a legit shot at on any given day. I'm not saying they'd be favored, but you can't count them out after what they've shown this year.

Ohio State has gave up 4 TD's on offense, LSU has gave up 15. Ohio State gives up an average of 209 yards a game, LSU gives up close to 233.

LSU was the #1 team in the country at the time, but they didn't have the best offense in the country, not even close to it. Kentucky has shown a lot this season and with all that has happened this season it's hard to count them out against anyone. Just my opinion though.

LSU has played FLA, Auburn, and UK in consective weeks. 2 great offenses in FLA and UK and a decent Auburn team... Take off the buckeye goggles for once. Please!
October 21, 200718 yr Lets break this down... Quaterbacks.. Todd Boeckman - 1,546 passing yards - 18 TD's. Andre Woodson - 2,201 passing yards - 26 TD's. Better - Kentucky Running Backs.. Ray Small - 150 yards - 2 TD's. Jake Ballard - 94 yards - 1 TD Keenan Burton - 544 yards - 6 TD's. Dicky Lyons JR - 461 yards - 6 TD's. Steve Johnson - 597 yards - 6 TD's. Ohio State gives up an average of 209 yards a game, LSU gives up close to 233. LSU defense is just as good if not better. They are probably faster that OSU defense and would match up against these quicker offenses alot better than OSU defense would...Offensively they both are just average, but once again going against SEC defense LSU offense probably would be better cause they would have more speed than OSU to go against the speed of the SEC defenses..I think OSU and LSU are very similar, except LSU is a little better than OSU..So if UK and OSU played, I think it could go either way. I think at UK, UK would win, and at OSU then OSU would win. At a neutral field it probably would be a toss up...

I like OSU, a lot of people don't. But I think they could beat Kentucky. Just me.

October 21, 200718 yr What makes u think this? They have yet to see a good offense this year at all, especially an offense with any speed... Purdue - Averages over 400 yards a game. Scored in double digits in every game this year except Ohio State. And the game was played at Purdue. Washington - Averages close to 340 yards a game, they scored over 20 points in every game this year except Ohio State. The game was played at Washington. Michigan State - Averages close to 432 yards a game. Ohio State held them to 185. 1st time all year they didn't score on offense. Those are all pretty good on offense.

The Big 10 only has one good offense like it or not and that is Michigan. When those teams you mention play any teams with decent defenses they lose. I mean the week after you all beat Purdue, I think they got smoked like 41 to 14 or something like that. Washington has only one 2 games all year and with a freshman QB I believe..Michigan State had a decent offense I will give you that. But it is just a typical Big 10 offense that matches up perfect for OSU, because there is no speed in that offense of Michigan State. As I just said in another thread OSU first and only REAL TEST they will have this year will be Michigan. And that is a team that lost to a 1AA team. But Michigan is not an actual normal Big 10 offense, they actually have an offense with some speed and playmakers, and will score on OSU. We will get to see if that offense of OSU really cant do much when they are not getting the ball all game because of their defense...Penn State next week is just another team that matches up perfect for OSU, because not much of an offense at all, and and not much speed...
