Coach Lucas was burnt out before the season and wanted a change. He agreed to stay on the staff this year but only as an O coordinator. Luckily for him there are quite a few other good coaches now on staff too to carry the load. I hope that Roy Jr. stays on and that they continue to build the program. I saw a big change at Lloyd this year. Hopefully Mike has energized Roy and kick started the program again. If Yeagle is still at Lloyd his skills as a strategist and visionary for building a program are invaluable. He may never coach another day in his life but he could still teach coaches for the rest of his life how to build a dynasty type of program.

 

As for Coach Yeagle, I would still sit down with him and let him teach me a thing or two about the game any day of the week. The man is a football guru. Nothing will ever change that. If he ever wants to come back I am sure that quite a few people will hire him.

From the news last night and the enquirer this morning Coach Yeagle has officialy resigned as Head Coach of Lloyd High School. I know now all the nay sayer's that were against the original hiring maybe right however, from what I seen at Lloyd earlier things were heading in the right direction.

 

I am sorry that Coach Yeagle was ill and should have not taken the job however for at least a few month's the community saw things going right.

 

I can only wish Coach Yeagle the best and know he will do his best as a teacher and educator in the Erlanger/Elsmere School District. I have so much respect for this man there is not enough room on here to go over the past 27 year's. So over the past 7 month's things just did not work out due to his health and I hope everyone can appreciate what he has done and let this behind them and go on. Lloyd will hire another football coach at the end of the season and hopefully things will change again. Things happen for a reason and I hope everyone will just let it go. Coach Yeagle is a human being and as we all are we should not throw stones. Again Coach I only wish you

Like all of us, I really hope Yeagle can take care of his health issues and return to coaching. I would love to see him back at Lloyd to see if he can rebuild a program that was once of the best in northern Kentucky. Football in the north is much more interesting with Yeagle patrolling the sideline.

I really wish things would have worked out for all parties concerned here, but it didn't, so it is time for all to move on!! Good luck to Coach Yeagle and to the Juggs!
