October 3, 200719 yr Is that another name for "pickleloaf?" Nope pickleloaf has those weird green and red things in it. Pickled bologna comes in a jar (either sliced or in a sausage shape) and is well--pickled. I love it but I like it better sliced than as a sausage.
October 3, 200719 yr I did not like it at first but my husband had me to try it one day and I fell in love with it. Who would have known that I liked something like that. I thought it was gross but one bite and I was hooked.
October 3, 200719 yr Pickeled pigs feet are delicious too. The taste is like pickeled ham . Not much meat on them though and of course you have to get past the visuals.
October 3, 200719 yr Pickled rope bologna with some saltine crackers....now there is some yummy country living right there. I remember when I was younger we would get some of that, get a tall glass of lemonade (or Kool-Aid) and go sit out on the porch and relax as we watched the time go on by. Man were those the days.
October 3, 200719 yr I'm more of a fan of Amish trail bologna and their horseradish cheese. Yum! My wife makes something she calls "combination - ground up bologna, cheese, pickles and mayo. Not bad.
