Certainly UK could beat ND from what we know about them at this point...

 

Look at it this way. Most people are giving UK a realistic chance at an upset against U of L this Saturday. I'm not saying people think UK will win, but they're giving them a decent chance.

 

What would people be saying if U of L was playing ND? I honestly don't think the Irish would be given as good a chance to pull the upset as UK is.

 

From what I've seen thus far, surely you'd have to give UK a pretty good chance to beat ND or Michigan.

I don't think UK plays either this regular season, so really just a lot of humble opinions here.... Now, what about the Music City Bowl..... That could be a possibility. OK, sorry, I did not want every hotel room in Nashville sold out...

UK COULD beat Notre Dame...but I don't think they would, particularly in South Bend....with that I think Louisville would have problems, in that both teams are not used to THAT type of mystique....you watch this year, Notre Dame will lose to teams they have long standing relationships with.

It would definitely be a good game, and I think the Cats could pull the upset.

Yeah, I think the Cats could handle the Irish this year, especially if the game were played in Lexington or at a nuetral site.

Hypothetically....Yes, if they played now or this Saturday. Notre Dame is not the team of years past and certainly, not the mystique of yesteryear.

 

UK is more balanced on offense and would move the ball, against the Irish defense. It would be a fairly high scoring game and the margin, would be 14-17 points

 

I would say 38-24, somewhere in that area.

I don't know if Notre Dame's weak offense could put that many points on the board they would have to have help from the D who has been just as bad.

I;d think it could actually be a good game. While I love both teams, I'm say UK'd probably get the better of ND this year.

If you took the same players that UK has and put them in a different uniform, there wouldn't even be a debate...the UK roster would be easily favored to beat ND. But, we've all been watching UK too long and no one is better at snatching defeat from the jaws of victory...

I wouldn't say that. Notre Dame is 0-2, and lost both games by big score's but that doesn't mean UK could beat them, and ESPECIALLY the same for Michigan. IMO, there is no way UK could beat Michigan. ND is down this year, but I wouldn't say UK could handle them. Plus look who Notre Dame has played, and look who UK has played. When we see how UK does against teams like LSU, Florida, Georgia, and Tennessee then we could talk about UK coming close to ND. But right now, I don't think UK could beat them, or Michigan.

I agree, According to Espn they have the worst offense in D1.
