The Bellevue Frosh team had a very impressive win over Brossart 48-6. Bellevue's Rodney Brock looked very good returning 3 punts for TD's (one called back on penalty) and about 100 yards rushing.

Is Brossart's frosh team bad? 48 points in a 32 minute game seems like a lot. Bellevue must have a nice team this season. Congrats on the win?

On a side note, the HHS/CCH game started off with Lil' Colonel and Big Colonel unhappy that the Bluebird faithful took the furthest spot away from the entrance in the parking lot, with the big blue bus. Yeah, we took four spots but we also had four families on board. I guess they didn't want the 'H' flying too close to Dixie Highway.

 

Seriously boys, lighten up. We weren't disturbing anyone. In there defense, it was a long, hot day in Park Hills for the blueboys...

Yeah their pride was hurt that day b/c "Bishop Schiender" shut them down so they needed to bully somebody and it happened to be HHS fans..:cry:

Frosh games are 8 min. quarters....Bellevue was up 26 to 6 at half.

Conner did not play in one game last year that was 8 min. qtrs. and that includes the championship game. The first game this year was 6 min qtrs.

All of Conner's Freshmen games last year were 8 minute quarters ... trust me.

Were you in CCH parking lot or in Towne and Country's parking lot? CCH tries to be a good nieghbor with Towne and Country. On weekends Towne and Country has alot of functions going on. If you were in CCH's lot, I would expect nothing but respect. If that was not the case, as a CCH alumni I apologize.

We were in CCh's lot. We were in the very furthest spot away from the school right next to the sign. As Sticky said we parked accross 4 spots which could of made it 3 if we wanted to. We would of totally understood if it was a varsity game but it was a freshman game. We told them we could go back to enemy territory and bring back 4 cars and park them and what would be the difference. But of coarse that didn't go over so well!!!! The guys exact words were that if we didn't move it right away Park Hills police would. The crazy thing about it, they told us to park in a yellow fire lane. We were expecting to come out of the game and it be towed. We understand if it was a long day for you guys, but just remember it going to be a long year.

After the HHS/CCH game we were standing there and a former Bluebird alumni and current Cov-Cath coach was complaining about how they gave the game away. Really!!! the game could of been easily 14-0 at half is HHS didn't have so many mistakes near the goal line. But that is something we will have to work on and i'm sure you won't have the same luxury the next time around. We also have come to a conclusion that we will probably see you back in Ft Thomas next year anyway!!!! Good luck with the rest of your season

Still, I can certainly understand his comment after a game like that. Twice they had to be thinking they had the game won. Tough to lose a game that way.
